Now you can be a part of our alpaca farm

and help support wonderful animals, natural fiber, and a local business!

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a way for people who wish to support local farms and also to experience the farming way of life firsthand. At Jersey Shore Alpacas,

we are offering limited numbers of three types of CSA shares.

It’s a great way for individuals or families to get a taste of the “farm life!”

You can join our CSA by choosing one of the following:

¨ Mega Share: $225.00/year      (5 available)

Includes all the benefits of the Full Share plus an overnight stay at our farm (either in our guest room with private bath or camping out in the pasture!) Breakfast and morning chores (if desired) are included. What a great idea for a family “overnight!”

¨ Full Share:       $100/year         (10 available)

This basic share package includes all of the following:

• Your choice of a 2-hour private knitting (beginning), needle-felting, or drop spindle lesson for you and a friend (supplies additional).

• One “apprenticeship” appointment (up to 3 hours) for you and a friend to spend hands-on time with the alpacas and learn to use their fiber.

• A “Shearing Day” ticket for you and a friend to come see the alpacas get sheared in May.

             (Note: shearing day visits will be limited to 2 hours, and will be scheduled because space is limited)

• For children in your family, a card or note (with photo) quarterly from their favorite alpaca!

• Yarn or fleece from our alpacas:

Either 2 skeins (approx. 3 oz. each) or 1 lb. raw fleece or 8 oz. washed/carded fleece

*Note: a $50 gift certificate to our farm store may be substituted for the fiber share.

• Coupon for 10% off entire purchase during one visit to our farm store

• Glass ornament with fleece and notecard from your favorite alpaca

• A personal phone call when crias are born.

• “Back-Pasture Pass” – Exclusive access into the pasture with the females and their crias during any day we are open to the public.

• Listing on our website as a “Supporter of Community Agriculture”

¨ Half Share:              $50/year             (10 available)

Includes all of the following:

·         Yarn or fleece from our alpacas:

Either 1 skein (approx. 3 oz.) or 8 oz. raw fleece or 4 oz. washed/carded fleece

• Glass ornament with fleece and notecard from your favorite alpaca

• A personal phone call when crias are born.

• “Back-Pasture Pass” – Exclusive access into the pasture with the females during any day we are open to the public.

• Listing on our website as a “Supporter of Community Agriculture”
